Terra Madre is a biennial event put on by Slow Food International which takes place in Turino, Italy. Terra Madre brings together those people in the food chain who together support sustainable agriculture, fishing, and breeding with the goal of preserving taste and biodiversity.
Many of our Slow Food Saskatoon members and Steering Committee members have had the good fortune to attend Terra Madre since its inception in 2004, and their experiences were life changing. Come hear 2014 Terra Madre attendee Nicole Davis of Daybreak Mill, SK talk about her experience
